Project Management Role At ABB

This position reports to : Project Operations Manager.

In this role, you will be responsible for the overall project management of supporting EV renewables customer projects. You will own all key project management responsibilities including, but not limited to planning, coordination, and communication in support of the company's strategic goals. Each day, you will collaborate with multiple other internal functions and actively drive collaboration in all phases of the project over its life cycle.

The work model for the role is : Remote.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate cross-functional project execution by collaborating with internal teams and external vendors to ensure timely, on-budget delivery of project scope and objectives.
  • Facilitate stakeholder communication through regular meetings, detailed project updates, and clear documentation of action items and scope changes.
  • Monitor and report project performance, leveraging project management tools and metrics to track progress, manage risks, and support decision-making.
  • Foster strong relationships with vendors, clients, and internal teams while staying informed on industry trends, particularly in EV and renewable energy sectors.

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED (Bachelor's degree preferred). 3 years of direct renewables project management experience. Prior experience in the EV industry highly preferred. Knowledge of electrical infrastructure and terminology is a plus. Demonstrated success supporting and guiding fast paced customer-facing projects from beginning to end. Effective negotiation and conflict management skills with ability to interact positively with all levels of the organization both internally and externally. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions and implement solutions at both a strategic and functional level. Ability to travel up to 25%. Candidates must already have a work authorization that allows them to work for ABB in the United States.
