Job descriptionJob Type : Full-time Pay : $47,000.00 - $61,000.00 per year, commensurate with experience. Exceptional health, dental, and vision coverage. Generous paid time off benefits. Participation in a 403B retirement plan with matching. PA Special Education Teaching Certification is required. Certification at the elementary level is preferred. Candidates must have experience or a desire to work in a trauma-informed environment with students who have faced challenges in their educational journey.

Special Education Teacher
Lakeside Educational Network is seeking a passionate Special Education Teacher - Elementary to join the team at our Souderton Vantage Academy campus in Souderton, PA. Teaching ELA, math, science, and / or social studies classes to students in grades 5 & 6 students who require learning and emotional support.
We are looking for a dedicated professional with a desire to create a supportive and trauma-informed educational environment.
Special Education Teacher - Elementary Responsibilities :
The responsibilities of the Special Education Teacher - Elementary may include :
- Teaching or co-teaching classes for students with diverse learning needs.
- Managing resource room support to provide individualized and small-group instruction.
- Serving as an IEP case manager, which includes developing, implementing, and monitoring student plans.
- Collaborating with colleagues, administrators, and parents to support student success.
- Morning, lunch, and other day-to-day duties as needed.
