Role Description

This is a full-time Pharmacist role at HealthMed Pharmacy, located on-site in St. Petersburg, FL. The Pharmacist will be responsible for dispensing medications, advising patients on the proper use of their medications, and ensuring the safe and effective use of pharmaceuticals. Daily tasks include preparing and dispensing prescriptions, monitoring patient drug therapies, and maintaining accurate patient records. Additionally, the Pharmacist will provide healthcare advice, educate patients on health practices, and collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient care.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy degree and valid state licensure
• Experience in preparing and dispensing prescriptions
• Knowledge of drug interactions and adverse effects
• Customer service and patient communication skills
• Ability to manage patient records accurately
• Familiarity with pharmacy software systems
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with healthcare providers
