Purpose of Job :

The Warehouse Supervisor provides guidance and direction for inventory movement in the Warehouse, including loading / unloading trucks.

Will provide backup coverage for Route Service Managers.

Job Components :

• Supervises the overall warehouse operations and daily activities of staff.
• Ensures continuous process improvement
• Coordinates physical inventory process and cycle counts
• Processes inbound receiving of containers or full truck, truck pallet shipments, and small parcel shipments.
• Operates forklifts and trains the Warehouse Workers on safety of goods and efficient use of equipment.

Qualifications :

• Minimum of 1year warehouse experience including inventory control procedures and inventory / accounting relationships
• Strong written, interpersonal and verbal communication skills
• Strong organization and time management skills and able to work under pressure
• Working knowledge of carrier operations, shipment routing and distribution methods
• Understanding of state, federal and interstate commerce regulations
• Strong computer skills
• Have keen understanding of hazardous shipping laws and requirements
• Must have and maintain a Class B CDL and clean driving record
• Satisfactory completion of a post-offer criminal background check and drug test is required prior to starting work.

Scope Data :

• Responsible for inventory valued at $500,000 - $3.0 million
• Process flow of 1.0 13.0 million pieces shipped per year out of the warehouse

Work Environment :

• Regularly required to use hands to grasp or handle, talk and hear, stand and walk.
• Specific vision abilities include close vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
• Ability to occasionally lift and / or move 70+ lbs.
• Exposed to battery warehouse conditions such as exposure to moving equipment mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles;

toxic or caustic chemicals.
