We are looking for a Construction Project Manager (Glazing)
Position Summary :
- We are looking for a results-driven Project Manager with experience in the commercial glass and glazing industry and a solid background in public works contracting.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing glazing projects from contract award through closeout, ensuring all phases are executed safely, on time , and within budget .
- This position requires excellent communication skills, technical expertise in glazing systems, and an understanding of prevailing wage, certified payroll, and public contracting requirements.
Key Responsibilities :
Manage all aspects of commercial glass and glazing projects , including curtain wall, storefront, and interior glazing scopesCoordinate submittals, RFIs , shop drawings, change orders, and procurementWork directly with general contractors, architects, fabricators, and field crewsSchedule and oversee material deliveries, installation activities, and subcontractor performanceMaintain compliance with all public works regulations, including labor compliance and certified payrollPerform regular site visits to monitor project progress and resolve jobsite issuesTrack project budgets and ensure timely and accurate billingLead project meetings and provide regular updates to clients and company leadershipMust have :
Commercial Glazing experiencePublic WorksCommunication skillsQualifications :
Minimum 5 years of experience in the glass and glazing industry, with a proven track record managing public works / commercial construction projectsStrong knowledge of aluminum glazing systems, curtain wall, storefront, and glass installation practicesUnderstanding of DSA, OSHPD, and prevailing wage requirementsAbility to interpret architectural and structural drawings and specificationsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsProficient in Microsoft Office, Bluebeam , and construction management software (e.g., Procore , CMiC )Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferredBenefits :
