As a Security Professional - Unarmed Telecom Patrols Full-Time in Sterling, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech / Media / Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading tech and media location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible throughout your shift. What You'll Do :

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.

Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and address potential issues.

Observe and report activities and / or incidents at the location to appropriate personnel as needed.

Assist with controlling access to the location, verifying identification, and escorting visitors or contractors as required.

Maintain awareness of surroundings in a technology and media environment, addressing unusual or suspicious behavior appropriately.

Complete required reports and documentation accurately and promptly.

Work collaboratively with Allied Universal team members and client representatives to support a secure environment.

Minimum Requirements :

Applicants must be able to provide proof of a high school diploma or GED, as required by the client.

Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.

A valid Guard Card or security-related license is preferred.

CPR certification is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
