About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President, Account Management to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the satisfaction, retention, and growth of clients within an assigned book of business. This role involves developing and nurturing long-term relationships with key client stakeholders, driving contract renewals, and executing strategic growth opportunities. The Vice President, Account Management will also be instrumental in driving client strategy and growth, representing the voice of the customer, and working cross-functionally to meet client needs. Applicants must have a minimum of 15 years' experience in healthcare account management or selling into payers, a Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience, and a proven track record of success in a matrix environment. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are essential, as is the ability to work with clients to understand and meet their operational requirements. The ideal candidate will have experience in a start-up or early-stage company, knowledge of the healthcare industry, and a background in reference laboratory business, esoteric tests, and processes. Experience with Medicare and Medicaid programs is also a plus. The role requires a proactive, client-focused individual who can anticipate and exceed client expectations.
