This role is an Onsite Role : This role requires full-time presence at our Oxford, NC office.

Basic Function :

This position is responsible for the physical, analytical and microbiological testing of Raw Materials, Bulk, Finished Product and Purchased Product for conformance to Revlon specifications. Use developed organoleptic, analytical test methods and shade evaluation / matching skills in evaluation of products.

The QC Laboratory supports an active manufacturing facility. Product evaluation and testing is performed in the QC Laboratory. Sampling is performed in other areas within the facility.

This position is required to be adaptable to working different shifts (1st & 2nd) and Saturday / Sunday based on business demands and PTO schedules.

1st Shift Hours : 7 : 30 AM - 3 : 00PM

2nd Shift Hours : 3 PM - 11 : 30 PM

Raw Material :

• Organoleptic evaluation, shade evaluation and physical testing, chemical testing of raw materials, in accordance with department procedures and Revlon specifications.
• Sample raw materials in accordance with procedures and Revlon specifications.
• Use, care, calibration of instruments and test equipment to include but not limited to Karl Fischer, pH meter and IR.
• Assist in training new employees.
• Generate approval / reject tags for raw materials.
• Enters evaluation, test results and final disposition in SAP for raw materials.
• Interface with Bulk Planning / Manufacturing / Receiving to coordinate the sampling, testing and dispositioning of raw materials.
• Works independently with little supervision.
• Follows Good Laboratory Practices, Good Manufacturing Practices and safety requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor.

The base pay range for this position is $30,400 and $54,600 / year; however base pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge, and geographic location. Certain positions may also be eligible for short-term incentives as part of total compensation.

Employees will also receive 3 weeks of vacation, pro-rated based on date of hire for the 1st year of employment and twelve paid holidays throughout the calendar year. Vacation will depend on role.
