Overview :
Aegis Worldwide is currently partnered with a company that essentially takes millions of pounds of cardboard (anything you would get from amazon, or any corrugated box you get from an online order) breaks down those materials down to its forged fiber & upcycles it into clean, sustainable and high performing materials that are utilized in the construction & furniture industries.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field (Master's preferred).
- 10+ years of HR leadership experience, with proven success in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience supporting full plant cycle—from startup and hiring ramp-ups to sustained production and potential closure or layoff events.
- Strong knowledge of employment law, compliance regulations, and workplace safety standards.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex workforce changes, including high-volume hiring and large-scale layoffs.
- Proven leadership in coaching managers, supporting employees, and building strong organizational culture.
- Ability to drive HR strategy while also managing day-to-day HR operations.
- Strong analytical, communication, conflict resolution, and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities :
Lead all HR functions for a manufacturing organization, including recruitment, training, employee relations, compliance, and workforce planning.Develop and execute HR strategies supporting plant startups, plant expansions, and full-scale production operations.Oversee staffing plans from initial hiring through steady-state operations, ensuring talent availability across all departments.Manage large-scale organizational changes including restructures, workforce reductions, and mass layoffs while ensuring compliance and minimizing risk.Establish and maintain HR policies, procedures, and organizational development programs.Partner with executive leadership to align HR initiatives with business goals and production targets.Support employee engagement, retention, conflict resolution, and performance management programs.Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws as well as OSHA and company standards.If interested in this opportunity, we are currently scheduling interviews — apply now and we can get you scheduled!
