How You Will Contribute :
The Assistant Director of Clinical Services (ADCS) is responsible for assisting the Clinical Director in the quality of clinical care, the appropriateness of clinical programming, and ensuring the day-to-day clinical operations at Pasadena Villas Smoky Mountain Lodge. The ADCS is responsible for providing individual and group therapeutic services for an assigned caseload. The ADCS assists the Clinical Director in the overall administration of clinical services, including case assignment and scheduling. This position acts as liaison with families, referral sources and other agencies in improving services and minimizing unplanned discharges.

Within the organization
Initiates and maintains strong professional relationships with facility and national leadership teams, and peers throughout the organization. Provides immediate supervision to the clinical team, under the leadership of the Program Director and Associate CEO & Network Clinical Director.
Outside the organization : Initiates and maintains strong professional relationships with clients and families, clinical providers, referral partners and vendors, as needed.
Essential Responsibilities :
Supervision and StaffingAssists with hiring, training, and supervising the clinical team.Assists with 90 day and annual reviews for the clinical team. Must submit all reviews before scheduled deadline.Actively engages with clients in the milieu and outside activities throughout the workday.Provides clinical supervision to clinicians in both individual and group settings, offering guidance and feedback to motivate and positively develop the clinical team.Works closely with the clinical and direct care teams to ensure a therapeutic environment is maintained, appropriate treatment planning, and discharge management.Conducts individual therapy sessions and specialized groups, always maintaining an individual caseload.Ensures compliance with state and Joint Commission accreditation. Assists other clinical staff to maintain their compliance. To include, producing documentation that supports compliance.Coordinates client care with the treatment team, family, and resident; implements discharge planning.Communicates with referral sources and families, keeping them informed of treatment goals, plans and progress.Coordinates clinical staff schedules and resident activity schedules.Supports, coaching and clear instruction of workload assignments to staff / interns resulting in effective and efficient daily operations by providing effective services that meet the special needs of the residents in the program.Identifies opportunities for and encourages professional development for clinical team.Acts as on call designee for emergencies or assigns on call designee when personally unavailable.Escalates risk exposure and / or customer service concerns, as necessary.Assists with difficult or emotional client situations, responds promptly to client needs, solicits feedback for continuous quality improvement.Collaborates with HR to develop and implement internship programs, working with local universities to develop consistent working relationship to acquire interns and supervise appropriately.What We're Seeking
Education and Experience
Requires a Master's degree from an accredited college or university in social work, counseling or other related fields, and a minimum of five years' experience working with clients with behavioral health diagnoses which preferably would include young adults and adults in the mental health or education fields.Preferred license from the appropriate state, such as LCSW, LMFT, LPC, or LMHC.Other Requirements
