As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare environment, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help create a secure atmosphere for patients, staff, and visitors. What You'll Do

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate. Respond to incidents and critical situations at the healthcare location in a calm, problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns. Maintain detailed records of daily activities and incidents as required by site procedures. Communicate and collaborate with staff, visitors, and / or patients to support a secure environment within the healthcare setting. Follow all instructions provided by Allied Universal and site management regarding security-related protocols and procedures.

Minimum Requirements

Applicants must be at least 21 years of age. Experience with access control and / or badge systems is preferred. Applicants who are comfortable using a computer or tablet are preferred. CPR and / or First Aid certification is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
