Job Description
Aerojet-Rocketdyne Coleman Aerospace, an L3Harris Technologies Company, is seeking a Senior Specialist, Program Engineer at our Orlando, FL location. Coleman Aerospace is a prime tactical and strategic missile target system provider supporting ballistic missile defense testing. High-Fidelity Air-Launched one, two, and three stage ballistic missile targets are their primary product line. Coleman's capabilities range from the precision assembly of large missile structures, to telemetry, avionics, networks, cold gas control systems, flight termination control modules, advanced vehicle guidance systems, environmental stress screening, qualification and acceptance testing.
The candidate will support Engineering tasks that establish and manage design requirements; and verify product designs meet all operating requirements for fabrication, test, flight, and life cycle disposal environments.
This opening is for a Deputy Chief Program Engineer (DCPE) responsible for providing technical oversight to all Integrated Product Teams (IPT) working on the development, verification, and production of system. The DCPE will chair major technical design reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR) with internal leadership teams and customers, chair MRBs / FRBs, support Risk Boards, support Change Control Boards, and provide technical leadership in root cause corrective action investigations. In the program structure, this role reports to Coleman leadership and Program Management.
