Actuarial Intern

Role

The Tampa, Florida office of Milliman, an international firm of actuaries and consultants is seeking a candidate for an actuarial internship beginning January 2026. In this role, the intern will be exposed to projects across all aspects of the health actuarial space. The successful candidate will review, organize, and analyze statistical data; develop and utilize actuarial models; analyze healthcare costs and utilization data; implement software solutions under actuaries' supervision. As well, they would assist our Analysts and Consultants in the development, checking, and utilization of actuarial models to further completion of timely deliverables.

This position provides an excellent entrance into the actuarial field and will provide building blocks to a successful actuarial career.

Job description :

• Review, organize and analyze statistical data

Compensation

The salary range for this role is $21.00 - $35.00 / hr., depending on a combination of factors, including, but not limited to, education, relevant work experience, qualifications, skills, certifications, location, etc.

Location

This role is onsite out of the Milliman office in Tampa, FL. The expected application deadline for this job is October 31, 2025.
