Medical Assistant

Role Description

Victress Health and Wellness is hiring full-time, part-time, and PRN Medical Assistants at our Sidney, OH clinic. In this role, you will assist providers with patient care, prepare rooms, take vitals, support clinical workflows, and help ensure a peaceful, efficient experience for all patients. Candidates with phlebotomy skills will have added responsibility in supporting lab work. You will be part of a supportive team focused on communication, order, and personalized care.

Key responsibilities :

Provide a warm, welcoming environment for patients

Manage front desk operations including patient questions, scheduling, faxes, and check in / out

Prepare exam rooms and assist with clinical procedures

Record patient vitals and medical history accurately

Perform blood draws and manage lab specimens (if phlebotomy certified)

Communicate clearly with patients and team members

Maintain a calm, organized, and mission-aligned environment

Qualifications

Medical Assistant certification or relevant experience preferred

Phlebotomy certification or training preferred

Strong attention to detail and time management

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Calm, dependable, and service-oriented personality

Comfortable in a faith-based, team-centered work environment

Interest in functional medicine or whole-person healthcare is a plus

Commitment to providing compassionate, high-quality patient care
