About the role

In a Project Management Technology role, you’ll use best-in-breed PM tools to help us deliver products that will change the world of fintech.

This will include overseeing the development of new products and services as well as new internal information systems and applications, new technology integrations, and infrastructure buildouts.

About the team

Primarily, we do Debit Implementations as well as application development of Debit card programs and applications. We work with Visa and Master Card as well as our core to work with clients to understand how they want their programs to be ran and implemented.

This includes other various debit products and services, fraud programs, ATMs, Network, etc. We l ead medium to large stand-alone projects or program with multiple suppliers and vendors.

Manage multiple workstreams within a larger program or oversee a portfolio of projects.

What you will be doing

• Working with product development, sales, client relationship teams, technology solutions, service delivery and / or other cross-functional teams.
• Managing project risk and assisting with problem resolution.
• May coach and / or mentor junior project management and support staff.
• Works under minimal supervision on complex projects. Wide latitude for independent judgment.
• Independently communicates with key internal and external contacts outside own area of expertise. Engages with client executives and team members.
• Tools Competencies - SME in one or more tools. Build complex Project plans, drives development without direction.
• Generally, manages large projects, approximately 10,000 to 40,000 project hours with a team of 50 to 150 team members, an internal cost of $1,000,000 to $4,000,000, and a project duration of 6 to 12 months.

What you will need

• A bachelor’s in computer science, management information systems or business administration or the equivalent experience PMP (Project Management Professional) certification may be required.
• Highly skilled with extensive proficiency; Requires eight (8) or more years work experience managing technical projects in financial services or a related industry or a related technical field, , application development, technology integration, business analysis, client technology consulting.
• Extensive knowledge of project management standards, processes, procedures and guidelines as well as various IT project methodologies and life cycles.
• Advanced skills with project management software.

FIS is committed to providing its employees with an exciting career opportunity and competitive compensation. The pay range for this full-time position is $99, - $167, and reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position based on the posted role, level, and location.

Within the range, actual individual starting pay is determined additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Any changes in work location will also impact actual individual starting pay. Please consult with your recruiter about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
