We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Production Manager to oversee the production of multiple vehicle lines and ensure operational excellence.

Position Overview :

The Production Manager at 27North will play a pivotal role in leading and optimizing production operations across multiple vehicle lines.

This position offers a unique opportunity to manage a diverse production portfolio, drive process improvements, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality vehicles on schedule.

Key Responsibilities :

• Oversee and manage the production process for multiple vehicle lines, including scheduling, resource allocation, and quality control.
• Develop and implement production plans, strategies, and KPIs to meet production targets, optimize efficiency, and minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with engineering, design, and procurement teams to ensure that production schedules align with design specifications, materials availability, and customer requirements.
• Lead and mentor production team members, including supervisors, technicians, and operators, to foster a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
• Monitor production metrics, analyze data, and implement corrective actions or process improvements to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and streamline operations.
• Conduct regular inspections, audits, and quality checks to ensure that vehicles meet internal standards, regulatory requirements, and customer expectations.
• Manage inventory levels, material usage, and production costs to achieve budgetary targets and optimize resource utilization.
• Coordinate with maintenance, facilities, and logistics teams to maintain a safe and efficient production environment and ensure on-time delivery of vehicles.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, and customer support teams to address production-related inquiries, resolve issues, and support business growth initiatives.
• Implement and uphold best practices, SOPs, and quality management systems to ensure consistent and reliable production processes.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business Management, or related field (preferred).
• Proven experience as a Production Manager or similar role in manufacturing, preferably in the automotive or vehicle manufacturing industry.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead and develop a diverse production team, drive performance, and foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
• In-depth knowledge of production processes, lean manufacturing principles, quality management systems, and regulatory requirements.
• Experience with production planning, scheduling, inventory management, and cost control.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills.
