Pay Information

$450 to $550 per hour

About The Position

Full Interventional Radiology Locums Physician - Louisiana, No Clinic

IR-only locum role in Central Louisiana with inpatient-only focus, no rounding, and an urgent November / December 2025 start

Highlights

  • 100% IR; no DR, no clinic, no rounding
  • Monday-Friday schedule with 1 : 2 call
  • IMLC physicians welcome
  • Credentialing in 30-45 days

Practice Setting

  • Inpatient-only coverage at a regional medical center
  • Solo MD IR coverage with 1 APP (adding more)
  • EPIC EMR

    • Schedule

  • Monday-Friday, 7 am-4 pm
  • 24-hour call every other night / weekend
  • Full-time, ongoing need starting April 2026

    • Cases and Procedures

  • Biopsies, paras, thoras, ports, drains
  • ~5 consults / day
  • Rare diagnostic reading only if IR team is slammed

    • Requirements

  • Board Certified in Interventional Radiology
  • Active Louisiana license or Open to IMLC Physicians
  • DEA required

    • Travel Accommodations
