Inventory Control Specialist

  • Performs inventory transactions
  • Properly puts away stock
  • Pulls parts for business units and shop personnel
  • Pulls and stages parts for service orders
  • Pack parts for sale orders
  • Completes material return sheets for vendors
  • Processes return parts
  • Conducts daily cycle counts
  • Reconciles negative inventory
  • Participates in Physical Inventory
  • Replenishes part carts
  • Audits lot numbers for repacked chemicals
  • Monitors MRO supplies
  • Informs Buyer of stock outs
  • Manages bin ID control
  • Housekeeping and provides support to team members & branches as necessary
  • Performs other duties, as assigned
  • 2 years' experience in manufacturing / industrial / stockroom environment - excluding general warehouse work
  • Strong computer skills (MS Office) and basic math skills
  • Organized, detail oriented, flexible, high energy, self-starter, innovative, & good communicator
  • Team oriented with continuous improvement outlook
  • Requires hand held scanner experience and an understanding of inventory control principals
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving and time management skills
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs. without restrictions
  • Forklift and pallet jack experience
  • Electrical and plumbing parts knowledge preferred
