Inpatient Psychiatrist- Reston, VA

Job Type : Full-Time

Shifts : Mon-Fri (Days)

Salary Range : $300k-$315k

Job Summary : The Inpatient Psychiatrist is responsible for providing clinical mental health inpatient care to patients in Northern Virginia. The psychiatrist will collaborate with outpatient clinicians for patient admissions and discharge coordination to ensure continuity of care. The Psychiatrist is supposed to conduct comprehensive initial evaluations, develop therapy plans, prescribe medications, analyse medical tests, track patient progress, and advise patients on coping strategies for mental illnesses and emotional distress.

Qualifications :

• MD or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine.
• Completed Psychiatry Residency program.
• Work experience as a Psychiatrist.
• In-depth knowledge of various psychotherapeutic methods.
