Accounts Receivable (AR) Clerk

As an Accounts Receivable Clerk, you will play a crucial role in managing the inflow of funds into an organization. Your primary responsibilities will include processing incoming payments, maintaining accurate records of accounts receivable, and ensuring timely collection of outstanding invoices.
You will collaborate closely with internal teams to resolve any discrepancies and provide exceptional customer service to clients.
This is an on-site role with an annual salary starting at $40,000.
Key Responsibilities :
- Process incoming payments accurately and efficiently.
- Reconcile payments received with invoices issued, identifying and resolving any discrepancies.
- Maintain up-to-date and accurate records of accounts receivable.
- Generate and distribute invoices to clients in a timely manner.
- Follow up with clients to ensure timely payment of outstanding invoices.
- Investigate and resolve any billing or payment issues in collaboration with internal teams.
- Provide excellent customer service to clients, addressing inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
- Assist with month-end closing processes and financial reporting as needed.
Qualifications :
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
- Proven experience in accounts receivable or related financial role.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
- Commitment to upholding ethical standards and confidentiality in handling financial information.
