Salary :
We are looking for a full-time highly motivated individual that enjoys working in a team environment but can work efficiently and independently as well.
The Administrative Assistant assists with all administrative tasks related to the general operation of the engineering office.
This includes answering the telephone, directing calls to appropriate staff members, responding to inquiries from visitors, and operating office equipment such as the computer, the copiers, and assisting with department reports and their submittals as needed.
Essential Functions
- Receive and sort incoming mail and distribute to staff members accordingly.
- Compose, type and edit correspondence, reports, memoranda, and other material as requested.
- Create, edit and / or file corporate documents, and records as needed.
- Read and analyze incoming memos, submissions, and reports to determine their significance and plan their distribution.
- Answer incoming calls and route individual calls as needed to the appropriate departments.
- Greet clients and visitors as necessary.
- Draft / edit PowerPoint bi-weekly presentations for rotation on office video displays.
Job Requirements :
- Communication proficiency.
- Teamwork orientation.
- Demonstrate professional judgment, consistency, and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in all Microsoft Office products.
Required Education and Experience :
A two-year degree from an accredited academic institution is preferred but will consider a High School Diploma and 2+ years related experience.
