As a Sales and Delivery Driver for our beer distribution company, Artisan Distributors, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of our products to customers while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

This position involves a combination of sales, customer service, and driving responsibilities. Our Sales and Delivery Driver will work throughout Southwest Virginia including but not limited to the areas of Harrisonburg, Staunton, Waynesboro, Charlottesville, and Roanoke.

Responsibilities

Sales :

• Actively promote and sell a variety of beer products to existing and potential customers.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients through regular communication and customer visits.
• Achieve sales targets and contribute to the growth of the business.

Delivery :

• Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport beer products to assigned destinations.
• Efficiently load and unload products at delivery locations.
• Ensure accurate and on-time deliveries to meet customer expectations.
• Merchandise products in store

Customer Service :

• Provide excellent customer service during deliveries and address any customer inquiries or concerns.
• Collaborate with the sales team to address customer needs and preferences.

Inventory Management :

• Monitor and manage inventory levels in the delivery vehicle.
• Communicate with the warehouse team to ensure accurate and timely product replenishment.

Record Keeping :

• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, sales, and customer interactions.
• Report any discrepancies or issues to the appropriate supervisor.

Qualifications :

Education and Experience :

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in sales and / or delivery is preferred.

License and Certification :

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Physical Requirements :

• Ability to lift and carry heavy loads.
• Stamina and physical fitness for loading and unloading products.

Communication Skills :

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to interact positively with customers and resolve issues effectively.

Time Management :

Excellent time management skills to ensure timely deliveries and meet sales targets.

Flexibility :

Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed
