Job Title : Baking / Pastry Team Member
Position Objective : This role will wear multiple hats within the Production Department to help support the overall development and manufacturing of YouBars products.
Job Duties and Responsibilities :
- Provide support to the Bakery Oven Operator
- Transfer of products from oven to cooling racks
- Load, unload, stack and products
- Assist in preparing and setting up the recipes to be completed each day
- Read and gather ingredients to measure, weigh and mix accurately in order
- Assist in monitoring baking reactions
- Assist in setting up and cleaning of work area properly for every individual recipe so ingredients / orders do not cross contaminate
- Assist in recording incoming or outgoing products
- Assist in monitoring production facility daily operations documentation
- Other tasks as assigned by Manager
Job Qualifications / Skills :
- High school Diploma or GED
- 1 year of related experience
- Standing up to 90% of the time
- Lift / Pull baking trays with products
- Extreme attention to detail and safety
- Ability to work in an environment with exposure to shellfish, crustaceans, peanuts, tree nuts, soy, milk, eggs, whey without incident
