Accounts Receivable Associate

Title : Accounts Receivable Associate Location : Paterson NJ Terms 6 months contract Schedule : Monday through Friday 8 : 30 to 2 : 30pm ON SITE DAILY 30 hour work week. Start : ASAP Pay rate $30-$35 / hr Education : Associate’s degree in Accounting required Or BS Accounting no experience Requirements :

• 2-3 years of A / R, credit collection related experience Required
• Thorough understanding of policies and procedures used in accounts receivable and collections
• Strong analytical skills with a focus on details and accuracy
• Highly self-motivated with the ability to remain focused and work with limited supervision, perform well under pressure, manage multiple tasks, and successfully meet deadlines
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Responsibilities
• Monitoring cash collections, cash application, chargebacks, disputes, and resolutions
• Managing weekly and monthly reporting and analysis
• Managing the A / R monthly closing process, account reconciliations
