Position Overview
Position Summary : As an IT Support Specialist, you will contribute to the optimization of our organization's technological infrastructure. You will support outpatient, residential, admissions, mental health, family therapy, medical, withdrawal management, and other support departments, ensuring coordination across departments to enable data-driven decision-making, operational efficiency, and sustainable growth.
Essential Job Duties
Electronic Health Record (EHR) ManagementCreate and maintain documentation templates, group sessions, and schedules
Manage lab and medication orders within the EHR systemAdminister user accounts and permissionsCollaborate with EHR support and billing teams to resolve bugs and ensure accurate coding for claimsServe as EHR liaison in clinic department meetingsTechnical Support & Helpdesk OperationsProvide daily troubleshooting and coaching for end users
Manage helpdesk ticketing system and ensure timely resolutionAddress application, equipment, and workflow issuesCommunicate system updates and changes to staffCoordinate with IT vendors for escalated support and service deliveryTraining & OnboardingConduct onboarding and offboarding processes, including account setup and equipment provisioning
Deliver training for new staff and identify ongoing training needs for existing staffProvide specialized training on Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, and EHR systemsInventory, Asset & Expense ManagementMaintain IT inventory using asset management systems
Allocate and track IT equipment including Chromebooks, VOIP phones, and audio / visual gearManage cable setups and ensure organized infrastructureMonitor and manage departmental IT expenses and procurementProject & Vendor CoordinationLead and support IT-related projects, ensuring timely delivery and stakeholder alignment
Coordinate with vendors for software licensing, hardware procurement, and service contractsOversee software management lifecycle including updates, renewals, and complianceSharePoint & Microsoft 365 AdministrationDevelop and manage SharePoint forms and reporting lists
Configure and maintain Microsoft 365 tools for collaboration and productivityEnsure secure and compliant deployment of apps and extensionsGoogle Workspace & Chromebook ManagementConfigure Google Workspace for efficient device deployment
Provision Chromebooks and manage device policiesEnsure compliance with security protocols and perform routine maintenanceCRM & VOIP System OversightSupport CRM system usage and troubleshoot user issues
Manage VOIP system setup, maintenance, and user supportAdditional Responsibilities

Qualifications
Education and Experience Required
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field is preferredKnowledge, Skills and Abilities Required
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Outlook, Excel and WordDetail-oriented and organized2 years of SharePoint experience requiredDemonstrated ability to present ideas and convey concepts to diverse audiencesAbility to maintain professional boundaries with patients, the community, and staffAbility to work collaboratively and treat everyone with respect and dignityStrong written and verbal communication and documentation skillsStrong organizational skills and attention to detailProactive problem-solving skillsBasic knowledge of substance-use disordersSelf-awareness and ability to adapt to mental health contextsIntermediate understanding of mental health disorders and symptom presentationOther Requirements
