The Assistant Manager at Popeyes plays a key leadership role in supporting the restaurant’s daily operations. This position helps ensure team members provide outstanding guest service, maintain high food quality, and uphold company standards. The Assistant Manager works closely with the General Manager to achieve operational goals and drive a positive team culture.
Key Responsibilities :
Assist in overseeing daily restaurant operations to ensure efficiency and profitability
Support recruiting, training, and development of team members
Monitor food quality, safety, and cleanliness in compliance with company and health regulations
Ensure customer satisfaction by handling complaints and resolving issues promptly
Help manage inventory, ordering, and proper stock rotation
Prepare and analyze sales reports to identify trends and opportunities
Open and close the restaurant following proper procedures
Lead by example and maintain a positive, respectful work environment
Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and standards
Qualifications :
High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree a plus
Minimum 1-2 years of experience in the food service or retail industry
Prior supervisory or management experience preferred
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Strong problem-solving and organizational abilities
Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
ServSafe Certification (or ability to obtain) preferred
Physical Requirements :
Ability to stand and walk for long periods
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
