Operational Finance Data Analyst in North Metro Atlanta
Full-Time | Reports to Chief Financial Officer
Under the supervision of the Chief Financial Officer and in liaison with the Senior Event Accountant, the Operational Finance Data Analyst works closely with ticketing and accounting teams to reconcile revenue and ticket components for concerts and other events. This is a highly analytical role requiring extended periods focused on numbers, revenues, and reports.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Senior Event Accountant and Event Accountant to oversee ticket and settlement data and minimize reconciliation errors
- Act as backup for event settlements as directed by the Senior Event Accountant
- Verify event builds for accuracy before presales / on-sales
- Produce reports in advance of event settlements to confirm cash receipts
- Utilize forensic accounting to research and correct discrepancies
- Participate in month-end close processes
- Perform other duties as requested by the CFO or Director of Ticketing
Skills and Abilities
Strong analytical skills with ability to reconcile multiple sources of revenue dataKnowledge of Python, Anaconda Navigator, data analytics, and data validationUnderstanding of accounting principles, bookkeeping, and ticket office proceduresProficiency with ticketing software, Microsoft Excel, and accounting systemsAbility to solve problems quickly while handling large volumes of financial dataComfortable working in a fast-paced environment with heavy workloadsStrong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlinesEffective oral and written communication skillsEducation and Experience
Bachelor's or Associate degree or equivalent experienceExtensive experience with ExcelExperience with Ticketmaster reporting preferred#ZRCFS
