About the Role
The Sr. Portfolio Manager is responsible for managing the overall R&D portfolio of projects through facilitation of meeting governance, strategic planning, annual operating plan, quarterly forecast cycles, and monthly actual financial review. The portfolio manager is also responsible for working closely with functional managers to create and maintain functional resource models that allow for speed and accuracy of project estimates. They will also work collaboratively with leadership and project managers to ensure portfolio information is updated frequently, accurately, and communicated appropriately across all key stakeholders including senior leadership.
Work Mode At Boston Scientific, we value collaboration and synergy. This role follows a hybrid work model requiring employees to be in our Arden Hills, MN office at least three days per week. Your Responsibilities Will Include :
Required Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree and 6+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Work experience as a project manager, data analyst or financial analyst Project Management experience Experience interacting with stakeholders and business colleagues to analyze and define business requirements and related project reporting Ability to present to senior level leadership within the organization Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong ability to collaborate with team members at all levels of the organization Excellent problem solving and analytical skills, attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications and Competencies :
Strong Project management or Financial planning systems experience preferred Ability to influence change to bring forward learning opportunities and new processes across the organization to effect positive portfolio management practices
Compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, among other relevant business or organizational needs.
