Responsibilities Work in a cardiac catheterization lab at a Level I Trauma and Magnet facility Performs a variety of technical functions including operation of fluoroscopy in the Cath Lab Cross-training to EP procedures may be required and may support TAVR and TMVR procedures in a hybrid OR setting Adult patient population in a teaching hospital environment Shifts are 4x10 hour days from 7 : 30 AM to 6 : 00 PM with a variable day off On-call required : one night per week and one full weekend per month Weekend shifts only required when taking call Candidates will float within the hospital and to affiliate locations as needed Epic EMR is used and experience is required Duties include monitoring and scrubbing procedures, participating in unit projects, and assisting with equipment management Potential to assist in hybrid OR for advanced interventions such as TAVR and TMVR First time travelers are accepted Locals are accepted at the same rate with no mileage radius restrictions Return staff must have at least a 6 month break between assignments Scrubs are provided and prints are not allowed RTO is restricted to 1 week maximum per contract All required compliance documents and labs are due prior to start Modules are completed pre-start and time spent is documented via transcript Requirements Active ARRT certification, BLS and ACLS required; PALS preferred Minimum of 2 years recent experience in Cardiac Cath Lab Experience with Epic charting system is required Pending state license accepted if application is submitted and received by licensing board Must be willing to float to sister hospitals COVID-19 vaccination proof is required with no exemptions References : two manager or supervisor references from the last 24 months; if only one within 24 months, a second from the last 3-5 years may be accepted Will not accept candidates with background or license hits License required if applicable Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-627088.
