Ivar's, the premier seafood restaurant company in the Pacific Northwest, is now hiring dining room hosts and hostesses with high-volume experience to join the exceptional team at our full-service Acres of Clams location on Pier in downtown Seattle. These positions can be either part-time or full-time depending on your availability, and the pay will include an hourly wage between $. and $. plus a share of the tips from our generous guests.
The responsibilities of Ivar's hosts and hostesses include greeting guests, providing wait times, leading guests to their tables, taking phone reservations, and maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of the restaurant lobby. For those who perform well and demonstrate a desire to take on additional responsibility, this opportunity could quickly lead to a promotion to lead host or hostess.
Qualified candidates must have at least 1 year of experience of as a host/hostess at a high-volume restaurant, the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, a positive & self-motivated personality, and flexible availability.
