As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will be responsible for monitoring and patrolling government-related locations, helping to deter security-related incidents. This armed position involves conducting routine patrols, maintaining a strong presence to help create a secure environment, and providing exceptional customer service and communication. You will play a key role in supporting a caring culture by putting people first, working as part of a reliable and innovative team that always acts with integrity to deliver outstanding results.

Position Type : Part Time

Pay Rate : $25.00 / Hour

Job Schedule : DayTimeFri 12 : 00 AM - 08 : 00 AM Sat 12 : 00 AM - 08 : 00 AM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies and / or emergency response activities as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, taking appropriate security-related actions according to post orders.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe for any potential security-related issues.
  • Maintain a visible presence throughout assigned areas to help to deter potential threats and support a secure environment for staff and the public.
  • Document and report security-related incidents, unusual activities, and / or hazards in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services when necessary to address incidents or provide assistance.
  • Operate communication devices to stay connected with Allied Universal supervisors and other security-related personnel.
  • Adhere to all applicable regulations and protocols regarding the carrying and use of assigned firearms while on duty.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Have at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
  • Possess a current armed guard card or license as required by state and / or local laws and regulations.
  • Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and / or baton is preferred.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
