PermaBilt Industries is seeking a seasoned, motivated, detail-oriented Controller to join our team in Lynnwood. The ideal candidate has a solid work history, working knowledge of GAAP, WIP, and job costing. This position reports to the General Manager.

PermaBilt Industries, Inc., with its Town & Country Post Frame Buildings division, is the largest post frame building contractor in Western Washington. Since 1973, specializations in design and construction of post and wood frame, steel-covered buildings have brought Town & Country to a level of quality and workmanship few can surpass. Town & Country has produced over 23,000 structures to date.

This Role

The Controller will provide the necessary planning, direction and controls of all financial reporting activities of the company and institute systems and procedures to assist the President in planning and monitoring the performance of the company. In addition, perform those activities necessary to achieve the stated objectives needed to support the business and obtain maximum growth and profitability.

Key responsibilities include :

Direct day to day accounting, including account reconciliations, general ledger, accounts payable, deposits, accounts receivable, payroll, etc.

• Maintain a system of Accounting Policies and Procedures to safeguard assets, achieve objectives, and ensure the integrity of financial data
• Work with the General Manager to develop and manage the budgets and monitor performance against budgets and forecasts
• Prepare financial statements and reports
• Ensure compliance with all financial and contract reporting requirements for private and public agencies.
• Primary staff contact for property tax, IRS, workers comp, or other compliance activities
• Provide strategic support and analysis
• Work with General Manager on general operational controls and improvements

Requirements

The right candidate must be highly organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about accounting. The candidate must demonstrate knowledge and understanding of GAAP, Work in Process, and job costing. If you have these abilities, we'd love to hear from you! While this position is within the construction industry, experience in the manufacturing industry would be considered.

Salary : $100K to $130K DOE
