Preferred Skills
- Deep knowledge of optical networking, specifically including DWDM / OTN & Ethernet from various vendors. SONET DS thru OC and SDH is a plus. Please list the specific equipment you have experience with.
- In-depth NOC and / or onsite experience in provisioning, troubleshooting, and overall process development
- Knowledge of TL, SNMP, CLI, REST, RESTCONF, Netconf / Yang protocols
Job Description
This position will be in support of various different roles : Customer Support, on-boarding, and various forms of software testing. Primary job function is to provide our proprietary software / application support to your assigned group of customers.
Responsibilities include troubleshooting server OS, assisting IT administration, and troubleshooting software and network telecom equipment issues. In addition, onsite and web meeting customer training support is required.
The candidate must be able to report to a customer site up to days a week. Some work could be remote but currently expected to have someone onsite. Maryland (Fort Meade) areaThe candidate must have current Secret or Top-Secret clearance.Job Requirements
