Shift : 1st Shift Monday - Friday 7 : 00 AM - 4 : 00 PM
Job Responsibilities :
Serve as the primary source of contact with customer / supplier representatives. Maintain a positive relationship, deliver excellent communication, and support and attend meetings, reviews, and audits.Ensure that the quality systems are maintained in accordance with ISO9000 : 2015 standards.Verify corrective actions and prepare problem solving customer correspondence related to quality concerns or issues.Participate in internal and external quality audits.Perform root cause analysis of technical quality problems.Utilize and apply the appropriate APQP tools (e.g. Process Flow, PFMEA, Control Plan, PPAP, SPC).Required Qualifications :
1-3 years of experience working in the field of Quality, Engineering, or similarExperience leading teams in troubleshooting issues in manufacturingDeep understanding of APQP and SPC concepts both theoretical and practical application, CMM equipment and data analysis, problem statements and root cause analysis, and common problem-solving methods and techniquesAble to read and understand blueprints - Machining experience is a plusSolid understanding of fixture design conceptsCompetency in basic metrology equipment and measuring tools such as calipers, comparators, micrometers, etc.Intermediate to advanced computer proficiency (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Adept in analyzing data such as normal distribution charts, trend charts, control charts, etc.Expertise in analysis and problem solvingExcellent verbal, written communication, and interpersonal skillsEfficient in organization and planningRequired Education :
Bachelor’s degree in Quality, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering with 1 year of Quality Engineering experience; or 5 years of equivalent Quality Engineering experience or similarly related functionPreferred Qualifications :
Professional certification, such as Certified Quality Auditor for ISO 9001 : 2015, CQE, etc.Experience operating a CMMCompX is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
