So, what will you be doing?

As the Vice President Communications you will be reporting directly to the SVP of Corporate Affairs (North America).  You will lead the execution of a comprehensive, enterprise-level communications strategy that advances Drax's reputation, strengthens stakeholder engagement, and aligns employees across the region with the company's strategic objectives.

You are an exceptional communications leader with a proven ability to navigate the media landscape in North America, particularly in major markets. You will bring strong networks, trusted relationships with influential journalists and outlets, and the capability to shape coverage that reflects Drax's purpose and priorities. Equally important, the postholder must be a seasoned issues leader adept at anticipating risks, leading rapid response, and protecting the company's license to operate in a highly regulated environment.

Key Accountabilities

Media Relations & External Engagement

• Build and sustain strong relationships with journalists, editors, and key stakeholders across North America.
• Serve as a credible spokesperson and strategic advisor to senior leaders, ensuring consistent and authentic messaging.
• Lead proactive storytelling initiatives that promote Drax's purpose, people, and sustainability commitments.
