divh2General Manager / h2pMV Transportation is seeking a General Manager who will provide support, leadership and direction to assigned operating location to ensure delivery of annual business plans. He / she will control the daily operation of our transportation contract, in compliance with the policies of the contracting agency and in conformance with company procedures. / ppJob Responsibilities : / pulliOversee employees of the contractor and monitor operational activities associated with the Scope of Work. / liliEffectively manage customer relations through both direct contact and outreach programs. / liliSupervise the daily activities of all drivers, dispatchers, call takers, supervisors, and subordinate managers as well as oversee the development and implementation of standard operation procedures. / liliIdentify, select, train and mentor location staff. / liliEffectively and frequently communicate with location staff and support team members. / liliOversee safety and training programs, plans and processes to ensure compliance with company, contract and regulatory requirements. / liliMaintain client contact routinely to meet or exceed expectations. / liliConduct periodic departmental audits. / liliDaily, weekly and monthly review of key operational metrics. / liliEnsure that all location financial metrics are managed continuously, exceptions are reported and action plans are developed to ensure the location meets its financial, safety and operational expectations. / liliImplement, promote and adhere to company policies and procedures. / liliInteract with bridges committee to effectuate positive changes to policies, procedures and programs. / liliParticipate in location(s) labor and employee relations activities. / liliProvide insight and information to support location(s) contract renewals. / liliCreate and present location(s) annual budget. / li / ulpTalent Requirements : / pulliMust have a bachelors degree in a related field from a four-year college may be substituted for two years of transportation experience and for one year of supervisory experience. / liliManagement experience required. / liliMultimode experience preferred (Fixed Route, Paratransit, Microtransit). / liliMust have a minimum of five years experience in transportation operations or a similar industry, including at least three years supervisory experience with operators or employees of a similar industry. / liliMust have labor / union(s) negations / expenses expertise. / liliMust have a full understanding of dispatch, scheduling, driver recruitment, and safety DOT and FTA compliance. / liliMS Office, strong analytical skills, strong written and verbal communication skills and high degree of multi-tasking skills. / liliAdditional duties / responsibilities based upon individual contract requirements. / li / ulpStarting salary range : $126,108 - $144,123 / ppMV Transportation is committed to a policy of Equal Employment Opportunity and will not discriminate against an applicant or employee on the basis of race, color, religion, creed, national origin or ancestry, sex, physical or mental disability, veteran or military status, genetic information or any other legally recognized protected basis under federal, state or local laws, regulations or ordinances.
