Security Officer Access Control Patrol
As a Security Officer specializing in access control at a chemical and petrochemical location in Sulphur, LA, you will play an important role in helping to maintain a secure environment for all personnel and visitors. Your responsibilities will include monitoring entry and exit points, verifying credentials, and conducting routine patrols to help deter security-related incidents. What You'll Do :
- Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities :
Control access to the location by verifying credentials and monitoring entry and exit points for authorized personnel and visitors.Assist in maintaining a secure environment by observing and reporting any suspicious activity or potential hazards within the chemical or petrochemical facility.Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and contractors by addressing inquiries and offering directions as needed.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific protocols and procedures.Conduct regular and random patrols of the property and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and security-related incidents.Document and report all security-related incidents, irregularities, and activities according to Allied Universal and site-specific policies.Support emergency response activities as required, working closely with site personnel and first responders when appropriate.What We're Looking For :

Must have 1 or more years of law enforcement experience, or 2 or more years of security supervisor or manager experience, or 3 or more years of security-related experience.A valid drivers license is required for driving positions only.Limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets or a rustic guard shack are a preference.Customer service experience is a preference.Access control or badge experience is a preference.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.Why Join Us :
