Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Paint Technician to join our team in Cincinnati, OH. The role involves a variety of tasks including preparing surfaces, mixing and applying coatings, and ensuring quality finishes. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented individual who is passionate about delivering high-quality work.

Responsibilities

• Assist in moving parts within the paint area.
• Remove grease, oils, and other contaminants from metals before treatment.
• Follow blueprints accurately.
• Mix and apply coatings to specified standards.
• Sand and mask metals for painting.
• Complete required documentation of daily activities.
• Maintain inventory levels.
• Operate hoists, cranes, riggings, dollies, and forklifts safely.
• Perform routine maintenance.
• Adhere to safety procedures consistently.

Work Environment

The work environment includes a 1st shift schedule from Monday to Friday, 7 am to 4 pm. Employees are required to wear steel toe boots and proper PPE such as full face shields and respirators. The role involves physical activities such as bending and crawling, and the use of equipment like spray guns, hoists, and forklifts.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cincinnati, Ohio.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $30.00 / hr.
