About the job Psychiatrist - San Diego, CA (Full-Time)

Alliance for Wellness is a well-established physician founded and physician-led psychiatric group serving Southern California since 2010.

We are currently seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Psychiatrist to join our diverse and seasoned group of Board-Certified Providers to support our San Diego County partners.

Responsibilities :

  • Provide in-patient psychiatric care, rounding in-person with support from a multi-disciplinary team of Psychiatrists, Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners
  • Provide collaborative and efficient patient care by utilizing the hospital EMR.
  • Availability to provide telehealth services, treating patients via video / phone.
  • Equipped to manage all aspects of Psychiatric care consults, psychiatric holds, discharge disposition, etc.

Position Details and Qualifications :

  • Will be supporting Palomar Health in San Diego, CA.
  • Will support the hospitals Crisis Stabilization Unit (CSU), Inpatient Medical Floor and ER.
  • Full-Time opportunity.
  • Work Schedule : Monday to Friday and at least 1 weekend a month.
  • Will see around at least 20 patients a day.
  • The starting salary is $350K.
  • 1099 Independent Contractor preferred but is open for W2 employment.
