The Release Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing all software releases across the client's environments. This role ensures version control, deployment integrity, rollback readiness, and cross-team communication with CAB and stakeholders. The Release Manager will work closely with DevOps, QA, Infrastructure, and Support teams to ensure timely and successful deployments across all environments.

Key Responsibilities
- Own and manage the release calendar across multiple initiatives
- Coordinate deployments across Dev, Test, Stage, and Production environments
- Ensure version control and artifact tracking using GitHub, Azure DevOps, and ADO pipelines
- Facilitate CAB meetings and obtain approvals for production releases
- Define and document rollback procedures and contingency plans
- Track release metrics and maintain release documentation and history
- Collaborate with CI / CD Engineers to integrate release gates and approval workflows
- Communicate release status, risks, and outcomes to stakeholders and leadership
- Ensure compliance with audit and governance standards during release cycles
- Support disaster recovery readiness through version and artifact management
Required Skills & Experience
5+ years of experience in release management or DevOps coordinationStrong understanding of CI / CD pipelines, Git versioning, and deployment automationExperience with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, and hybrid infrastructure environmentsExcellent organizational and communication skillsAbility to manage multiple concurrent releases and coordinate across teamsFamiliarity with CAB processes, rollback planning, and compliance requirementsExperience with monitoring tools and post-release validationPreferred Qualifications
Experience in retail or enterprise IT environmentsKnowledge of disaster recovery planning and executionFamiliarity with Rubrik, Dynatrace, and Logic MonitorProject management certification (e.g., PMP, Agile)Experience with D365 or large ERP implementations a plusAbout Brooksource
