Consumables Pricing Team Sr. Product Manager

Amazon is looking for a customer obsessed team member to join the Consumables Pricing Team supporting our Consumables Everyday Essential businesses (Grocery, Health and Personal Care, Beauty, and Baby). The Consumables Pricing Team owns identifying and driving strategic pricing product roadmap focused on improving price perception and driving new operational capabilities and revenue streams. The Sr. Pricing PM will gather and analyze structured and unstructured data from various sources and teams, synthesizing and overlaying it with how our business processes and systems interplay to support the US Consumables customer experiences. This role will work to build a deep functional knowledge of our pricing systems and our customers buying processes. The Sr Pricing PM will work with stakeholders to set the CX aspiration for our customers and to design / drive solutions / features that deliver the best pricing / value to our customers across all Consumables categories. In addition the Sr Pricing PM will be build analytic and reporting tools to share visibility on Consumables specific topline and bottom line impact of pricing drivers, new pricing features and configurations, seller pricing mechanisms and competitor monitoring new initiatives. Please note that this is a L6 IC PM Non-Tech role that is more focused on strategy rather than development of actual products and BRDs which will be owned by Central Pricing Teams. While this team is focused on Consumables, several of our initiatives span across all product families, resulting in high impact, complex and visible projects. The successful candidate in this role will have passion for innovation, be a self-starter, be comfortable with ambiguity, possess strong analytical skills and attention to detail and an ability to work in a fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $124,500 / year in our lowest geographic market up to $206,000 / year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and / or other benefits.
