Senior Staff Talent Acquisition Specialist

The Senior Staff Talent Acquisition Specialist will support Chord Energy's recruiting and staffing needs and facilitate the employee experience. This role will serve as a key contact for designated managers as it relates to recruiting, onboarding, employee development, employee performance and re-recruiting efforts. The ideal candidate has a strong background in recruiting processes and has proven ability to form and promote strong relationships across an organization and be a champion of the company culture and values. This position is located in downtown Houston, TX and will report to the Talent Acquisition Leader. Hybrid work schedule is an option for remote work on Mondays and Fridays. Level and salary commensurate with experience.

Essential Job Functions :

• Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, including job postings, sourcing candidates, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and extending offers.
• Establishes recurring meetings throughout the year with leaders to stay informed with the operations of the departments, status of the workforce and to review any HR related issues.
• Serves as a liaison between candidates and hiring managers; communicating, monitoring, and facilitating progress and addresses any concerns or questions.
• Responsible for understanding the operations and strategic drivers of the company and to work directly with designated department management to successfully meet objectives.
• Participate in and / or lead special projects or other HR related assignments as required by the company's growth and new HR initiatives.
• Work with the HR team and key managers to identify retention strategies and recommend opportunities for improved employee engagement.
• Advises, trains and is the main point of contact for hiring managers and employees on company policies, procedures and compliance requirements with regards to recruiting and talent management.
• Ability to continually drive the process forward.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a high-volume activity environment.
• Proactively develops strong relationships and partnerships within the HR team, operations management, business leaders, external recruiters and other vendors.
• Maintains knowledge of industry trends and employment legislation to ensure company's compliance.
• Stays connected to staff through promoting company events, culture and values.
• Other duties and projects as needed requested by Supervisor.
