About The Position
We are seeking an experienced Family Nurse Practitioner for a 6-week locum tenens opportunity in Mississippi, starting Dec 3, 2025. This assignment features a Monday and Tuesday schedule, with extended hours on Monday and a half-day on Tuesday. The ideal candidate will have a background in family practice and must be credentialed with Medicaid, Medicare, and major private insurers.

Responsibilities and Duties
Conduct initial patient visits and follow-up appointmentsDiagnose and manage common conditions such as cold, cough, flu, diabetes, and hypertensionProvide general family practice care across a diverse patient populationCoordinate laboratory work through LabCorp; no in-house blood draws requiredMaintain compliance with all applicable clinical protocols and documentation standardsAdditional Information
Active Mississippi Nurse Practitioner license requiredDEA certification is mandatoryMust be credentialed with Medicaid and Medicare, as well as BlueCross Blue Shield, Track Health, United Healthcare, and MagnoliaCOVID vaccines are not part of this assignmentBenefits
