Quality Manager

The Quality Manager oversees the Quality Management System and Quality Team, ensuring compliance with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and customer-specific requirements.

The role focuses on achieving 100% customer quality satisfaction and zero defects, leading teams to meet financial and customer satisfaction objectives.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities :

  • Ensure compliance with Quality Management System and customer requirements.ISO 9001, IATF 16949, Customer Specific Requirements
  • Lead management review process
  • Lead resolution of customer complaints and product quality issues.Customer contact, initial response, and containment
  • Root cause analysis, corrective action, and verification
  • On-site support at customer facility as needed
  • Accountable for internal and external audits and actions for non-conformances.
  • Lead continuous improvement of Quality Department's KPIs.COPQ, External CARs, Internal non-conforming material
  • Provide leadership to ensure compliance with : Accurate PPAP submissions
  • Material and Product Certifications
  • Non-conforming Material, CAR / PARs, 8Ds, Quality Alerts
  • Dimensional layout, gauges calibration, gauge R&R’s, Capability Studies
  • Development and maintenance of PFMEAs, Control Plans, and operator procedures
  • Participate in the development of strategic and tactical business plans.
  • Supervisory responsibilities in accordance with organizational policies and applicable law.
  • Support continuous improvement goals and adhere to Quality Management and ISO 14001 Environmental Management Systems.

Qualifications and Experience :

Education, Certifications, and Experience Required :

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a Technical Field
  • 5 years Quality Management experience in an automotive environment
  • Six Sigma experience-Blackbelt is preferred
  • Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) certification

Skills Required :

  • Strong leadership abilities for coaching and mentoring teams
  • Competent in QMS with emphasis on Continuous Improvement and Corrective Action
  • Proven success as a facilitator in root cause analysis and corrective action implementation

Travel Requirements :

  • Domestic Travel : 0% - 25%
  • International Travel : 0% - 25%
