Senior Manager, Operations - Global

Position Summary...

This is a new role to oversee the build out and transition of seller support into a global organization. They will be the point person for driving parity across the US, Mexico, Chile, and Canada seller support teams. This will be an individual contributor role, with dotted line leadership to the Mexico, Chile, and Canada seller support teams. Eventually, this role will transition into the org leader for Spanish based support across all marketplaces. Bilingual in Spanish and English is a requirement.

About the team

The seller support team owns the experience sellers have when encountering issues in managing their business on the platform. While today the team is focused on reactive issue resolution, we are moving the associate base to be a more consultative type of role where they ensure reactive issues are resolved while also providing the seller proactive guidance and support to help them find success on the marketplace. This role will be a peer to two Sr. Managers managing support for the US MP, one Sr. Manager who owns the organization that manages day to day performance for our BPO vendors, and one to be hired Sr. Program Manager.

What You'll Do

At start, this will be a role focused on influential leadership. They will work with the MX, CA, and CL support leaders to bring them to parity with metrics, tools, and process with the US based team as well as providing any best practices from these regions to the US team. In the next one to two years, this role will be a key player as seller support transitions to a truly global organization where support is divided by language rather than country marketplace. This leader will then own the experience for all languages of support outside of English (to date that is Spanish and French Canadian) and will work closely with the international MP team largely based in Bentonville.

What You'll Bring

Strong International contact center Operations Leadership, preferably with experience managing global teams

Strong project management skills

Understanding of support for a two-sided marketplace, preferable experience leading B2B support teams

Strong bilingual communicator (Spanish, English required)

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00-$180,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

Minimum Qualifications : Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Operations , or related field and 3 years' experience in operations, project management, or related area OR 5 years' experience in operations, project management, or related area. 1 year's supervisory experience.
