Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Optician role based in Raleigh, NC. The Optician will assist patients with selecting and fitting eyeglasses and contact lenses, provide excellent customer service, and ensure prescriptions are fulfilled accurately. Responsibilities also include educating patients about lens options, addressing inquiries regarding vision care, and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of optical products and technologies. You will work closely with optometry professionals to deliver exceptional care and experiences.

Qualifications

• Sound understanding of optics and optometry principles
• Strong focus on customer satisfaction and excellent customer service skills
• Proficiency in assisting with lens and frame selection, fitting, and adjustments
• Effective communication and problem-solving abilities to educate and assist patients
• Attention to detail and the ability to maintain organization in a fast-paced environment
• Previous experience in an optometry or optical setting is preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in opticianry are a plus
