Job Title : Billing Specialist
Job Description
As a Billing Specialist, you will be responsible for issuing authorized credit and debit memos to customers in compliance with corporate policies. You will maintain files and documents in accordance with record retention policies and ensure the accuracy and integrity of billing reports and audits. Your role involves supporting both internal and external contacts with quality customer service via phone and email, resolving individual and system-wide issues within the ERP billing system, and evaluating procedures and systems to recommend improvements.
Responsibilities
Issue authorized credit memos and debit memos to customers in compliance with corporate policies.
Maintain files and documents in compliance with record retention policies.
Review billing reports and audits to ensure accuracy and data integrity.
Facilitate maintenance of account manager demo accounts by ensuring correct billing where required.
Support internal and external contacts with quality customer service via phone and email to answer questions and problem-solve.
Resolve individual and system-wide issues within the ERP billing system.
Evaluate procedures and systems to recommend improvements.
Essential Skills
Experience in invoicing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and billing.
Proficient in invoice processing, data entry, and reconciliation.
1+ years of transactional accounting experience (AP, AR, Billing, Invoicing, etc.).
ERP experience is desired.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Associates or Bachelor's degree is a plus, but not mandatory.
Proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs.
Work Environment
The role requires working five days a week in the office, but offers flexible hours as long as eight hours are completed daily. The organization consists of 3,000 employees, and you will work in the AR module within Oracle. This is an exciting opportunity in a dynamic organization with opportunities for future growth.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Minneapolis, MN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $33.65 / hr.
