Position Overview

As a Cashier at Porsche Riverside , you will serve as the first and final point of contact for our customers during their service visits. You will be responsible for accurately processing payments, handling customer inquiries, and providing a welcoming, professional, and efficient experience. This role is essential to maintaining strong customer relationships and ensuring overall satisfaction with the dealership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet customers warmly and professionally upon arrival at the cashier counter.
  • Process service and parts invoices accurately, including cash, credit card, and check transactions.
  • Review invoices with customers, answer basic questions, and direct them to appropriate staff for further assistance.
  • Balance the cash drawer and reconcile daily transactions.
  • Handle incoming phone calls courteously, directing calls as needed.
  • Perform scanning, filing, data entry, and other clerical duties to support the Service and Parts Departments.
  • Maintain the cashier area in a neat, organized, and professional manner.
  • Provide outstanding customer service by addressing concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Merchandise and stock Porsche boutique items; maintain displays, replenish inventory, and support periodic counts

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous cashier, customer service, or office experience preferred (automotive dealership experience a plus).
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy with handling money and transactions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in basic computer use and Microsoft Office; CDK experience a plus.
  • Professional demeanor and a positive, customer-focused attitude.
