The Safeguard Site Program Manager provides expertise and fosters continuous improvement by leading execution for the manufacturing site and coordination with the global program. Assists the site leadership team in achieving the strategic goals for function wide initiatives and responsible for critical projects that will reside within the Program Manager's area of responsibility. Support effective and compliant implementation of ongoing projects in support of Division's strategic initiatives.
What You'll Work On :
Lead program enhancements to quality systems to ensure compliance with applicable corporate and Divisional policies and procedures.Ensure program scope and success criteria are clearly established; develop and manage overall program plans to meet deliverables. Manage resources and timing for current and future stages.Oversee execution and delivery of all projects and programs within span of program control.Provide oversight and coordinate necessary teams to prepare, execute and govern a large program consisting of multiple workstreamsEnsure team is working within project / program scope and effectively coordinate the activities of the team to meet project milestones.Initiate, lead and communicate project / program assessments and lessons learned.Proactively identify changes in project / program scope and assure appropriate measures are taken to reassess and amend requirements, budget, and timeline.Participate in the development and implementation of innovation plans.Create and deliver project and program review presentations. The incumbent is required to interact with all levels of management, and act as a point person for Senior Leaders.Ensure alignment with key planning processes, such as business planning, brand planning, customer planning, S&OP and corporate project reporting.Build a strategic team, lead staff and key participants to deliver divisional commitments.Work directly with functional area managers to resolve issues that impact completion of project objectives : determine when to escalate issues to appropriate levels of management.Participate in divisional program change management network to resolve issues that impact adoption of site changes involving behavioral, structural or process enhancements.Champion the leader support, communication, learning, and reinforcement plans developed by the program to meet deliverables.You'll be accountable for meeting our compliance standards including FDA, OSHA and Abbott policies and procedures.
Required Qualifications :
Bachelor's degreeMinimum 3 years of experience in a regulated manufacturing environmentMinimum 5 years of experience in people leadershipPreferred Qualifications :
Successful program management track record. Demonstrated ability in managing expectations of program requirements and deliverables.Adaptability and flexibility including the ability to manage deadline pressure, ambiguity and change.Strong written and communication skills; ability to communicate effectively with employees and leaders at all levels.In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire.
The base pay for this position is $97,300.00 $194,700.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
