Drywall Estimator

Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Drywall Estimator to join our team. This role is responsible for analyzing project plans and specifications, preparing accurate cost estimates for drywall and related scopes of work, and supporting the bidding process to secure profitable projects.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities :

• Review blueprints, specifications, and project documents to understand the scope of work.
• Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for drywall, insulation, metal framing, and finishing.
• Conduct quantity take-offs using estimating software and manual methods.
• Request and evaluate material and subcontractor quotes to ensure competitive pricing.
• Collaborate with project managers, general contractors, and suppliers during the pre-construction phase.
• Prepare and submit bid proposals and ensure all estimates meet deadlines.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend value engineering options.
• Maintain a database of unit costs and historical pricing for future reference.
• Attend pre-bid meetings, site visits, and client walkthroughs as required.
